Enough of these phrases,
Conceit and metaphors,
I want burning, burning, burning.

UPDATE 6/2014: You can now buy prints of Fire Buddha! Learn more and purchase by clicking HERE
Fire Buddha will be donated to support the creation of a brick and mortar store for Gather, an amazing business here in Bloomington, Indiana that supports local artists. For those in the area, you can attend the fundraiser and bid on this piece (as well as many other amazing creations!) on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014.
You can learn more about the event HERE and connect with Gathering on Facebook HERE.
Prints of Fire Buddha will be available, along with many others, in the next few weeks on this site! After much research, I've decided to use FineArt America to offer you high-quality prints on demand of any of my art that resonates with you. I want to order a few myself first to make sure they are high quality, and then I'll open the virtual doors!
And just for a few giggles, my son recorded me while I was doing a few final touches on this piece.
It's a peek, of sorts, into my process. Sometimes quiet, detailed, peering up close to the painting....sometimes more like this video - powerful music, lots of movement and dancing. (Unfortunately for you, he missed most of the dance moves.)
Either way, I'm practicing painting with what is - the sounds, the silence, the colors, whatever is before me and within me.
Here's to the dancing and the burning.
Namaste.
