In Gratitude
Today I have little to write.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
Yesterday, in response to my post, so many generous donors offered over $230 - in one day - towards the Out of the Darkness walk / American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I never expected such a response.
Even more, I never expected the warm emails I received, the stories of shared pain and love, the connections that have now been forged because of one post.
You may have donated, and for this I cannot thank you enough (and wish you luck in the painting raffle!). You are having more of a positive effect on my life and someone's life than you realize. You may have wanted to donate, but couldn't; you may have simply felt a tug at your heartstrings.
Whatever the situation, I look at you through through this computer screen and, with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face, whisper it doesn't matter...it doesn't matter....i see you. and i am so thankful for you.
Deeply in gratitude, I return to this overwhelming sea of love.
Namaste.
